The Clark Group Becomes Vela Environmental
The Clark Group announced today that it is changing its name to Vela Environmental. The company will begin to use the new name immediately.
The naming of the company is the latest milestone in a rebranding process that began in 2011 when The Clark Group celebrated its ten-year anniversary. “We have grown from a small partnership in Washington, DC to provide nationwide environmental consulting services. The new name better represents our full range of services,” says Managing Partner Laura Sands.
Vela Environmental is a leading provider of environmental consulting services. Our name comes from a star constellation describing “the sail of a ship” and also the root of words such as “reveal” and “revelation.”
“The constellation symbolizes the guidance we provide to our clients. The sail represents the work that we do. Whether we are engaged in sustainability consulting, legislative outreach, or federal environmental work, we guide our clients and provide the means by which they can reach their goals. ” Sands said.
Even though the company name is changing, our core services and values are still in place under Vela Environmental. We will continue to be the means by which our clients can make meaningful progress toward addressing the most difficult of environmental challenges.
